Chantell Preston, Chief Executive Officer
Chantell Preston is the Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner of Facilities Management Group. She has 23 years of experience in health care operations, project management and consulting services for numerous health care companies. Chantell specializes in the development of development and management of ambulatory surgery centers, freestanding emergency rooms and hospitals.
Prior to FMG, Chantell was co-founder and Chief Development Officer for Mentis Neuro Rehabilitation and Atlantic Health Group. Mentis provided cognitive and physical rehabilitation for traumatic brain injury patients across the United States. In 2015 Mentis was purchased by a private equity group. Atlantic Health Group developed and managed different types of healthcare facilities such as ambulatory surgery centers, specialty hospitals, acute care hospitals and radiation oncology. In addition to her role at FMG, Chantell serves as a Board Member for remindtrac and Inception Fertility Ventures.
Chantell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. She is also an active manager and administrator of the West University Softball Association in her spare time.
Eric McLaughlin, M.D., Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Eric McLaughlin is the Chief Medical Officer and a founding partner at Facilities Management Group. In his role at FMG, Dr. McLaughlin serves as an expert in physician training and compliance, risk management, and health services marketing. His focus is to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction among patients, with an emphasis on service recovery and retention.
Dr. McLaughlin has been a physician partner in Elite Care facilities since 2009, serving as both a Medical Director and Manager. Additionally, He owns and manages Physician Acute Care Services, PLLC, an emergency medicine physician and provider staffing firm.
Eric is licensed physician in the state of Texas and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College.
Dr. McLaughlin completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine in Toledo, Ohio at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he earned their Humanitarian Award for his leadership and compassion in medical care.
Dr. McLaughlin currently serves as a board member for the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers, (TAFEC) working to ensure that all Texans have timely access to high-quality emergency medical care.
Richard Yount, J.D., Chief Development Officer
Richard Yount is a founding partner of FMG and serves as the Chief Development Officer. He previously served as Founder/CEO of several of the FMG freestanding emergency care facilities. In 2009 Richard joined the emerging industry of freestanding, privately owned and operated healthcare facilities that were dominated by physician owners and operators. Believing that it takes both business and clinical experts to operate successful healthcare facilities, Richard applies a novel approach to the management of his interests.
Richard completed his Bachelor of Science in Labor Economics from the University of Illinois and earned his Juris Doctorate in Accounting and Law from the University of Houston. Richard excelled academically, with the distinction of having earned the single highest score on the Texas Bar exam over a 5-year period.
Brian Orsak, Chief Financial Officer
Brian Orsak is the Chief Financial Officer for FMG. He offers his financial expertise to FMG facilities guiding them to success in billing, accounting and efficiency in processes. Brian is a long-standing entrepreneur with a passion for increasing enterprise value by foreseeing and implementing changes to provide efficient, quality medical care. In his career Brian has served in a variety of roles including operations, sales and investment services. Each of these roles gave him the expertise for his future as the Co-founder and CEO or both O2 Holdings LLC. And St. Michaels Emergency Center.
Brian holds a CFA Charter and a Bachelor of Science in finance and management from Houston Baptist University.
Bernard Levitt, CPA, Director of Accounting
Bernie Levitt is the Director of Accounting for FMG. He offers over 23 years of experience in accounting and possesses an inherent talent in analyzing and capitalizing on accounting and compliance changes and challenges in various industries. He has served in Executive and C-Suite roles at Vantiv, First National Bank of Omaha, National Processing Company, and Physicians Reimbursement Systems. Bernie’s career has centered around solving accounting and compliance problems using sophisticated accounting data analysis techniques, comprehensive strategic planning based on data processing and analysis, merchant compliance and screenings, and data security breach resolution. Over his many years in the credit card industry, he played an integral role in the introduction of credit Rewards Cards. Bernie has helped over a dozen struggling companies overcome data breaches and fines to ultimately avoid bankruptcy.
Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Michigan State University. He served two years in the U.S. Army as an Officer, receiving Achievement Awards for Service.
Kathie Jones, Director of Human Resources
Kathie Jones serves as FMG’s Director of Human Resources. Kathie brings her many years of human resources expertise to our facilities and their staff. She works with the FMG facilities to develop HR policies, practices and philosophies that will place each of our companies as a “Best In Class” employer and as an employer of choice in the communities our facilities serve.
Kathie launched her HR Career with Valero Energy Corp. in a variety of human resources roles. She served Valero in the Retail Division, where she provided HR Support to over 2,000 employees in 4 different States. She later moved into the role of Sr. HR Manager at Valero’s Texas City Refinery. During her nearly 20-year career with Valero, she earned many accolades including; Excellence in HR Support and Volunteer of the Year. After leaving Valero, Kathie joined St. Michael’s Emergency Rooms. There she developed and established human resources process and procedure from the ground up. In late 2018 Kathie made the transfer to FMG.
Kathie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in marketing from Texas A&M University. Kathie is passionate about being a “Best in Class” HR Professional and employer and the human and the legal elements of her role as an HR Professional
Erin Mattingly, Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development
Erin Mattingly is the Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at FMG. Erin drives FMG’s strategic marketing initiatives by ensuring that the efforts of all FMG’s facilities align to our mission to go above and beyond the expectations of our patients and investors. At FMG, she is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of patient satisfaction, while also generating a steady expansion of our customer base. Erin offers a variety of marketing services, with expertise in leading strategic and tactical plans. She is well-versed in the negotiation and analysis of potential opportunities utilizing clinical data and competitive intelligence. Specializing in mapping operational processes and advising teams, Erin outlines best practices, policies and procedures, and planning of new healthcare centers.
Erin began her early career in the hospitality industry, working with ClubCorp, the nation’s largest owner and operator of private business and sports, country clubs and resorts. Through her time at ClubCorp Erin held a variety of roles building her passion for building the customer experience. In 2007, she shifted her focus and began her career in the healthcare industry, specifically focusing on Free Standing Emergency Rooms, micro hospitals and joint ventures.
Erin holds a bachelor’s in communications from Texas State University with an emphasis in leadership.
Trevor Amsberry, Graphic Designer
Trevor Amsberry is the Graphic Designer for FMG. Trevor offers a full range of corporate marketing, design, and web services, specializing in marketing materials, logo design, and branding. He has wide-ranging experience designing marketing campaigns, sales materials, and advertisements. He is also skilled in marketing management as evidenced by his several years’ experience working as a graphic supervisor for the Ricoh Americas Corporation, serving the Katy Independent School District. His other projects included the design and fabrications of exhibits and signage for the Oregon Zoo, brochure and marketing strategy for the Modesto Symphony Orchestra, and editorial design for the Orion Newspaper. Prior to joining FMG, Mr. Amsberry worked for Sitebox Group, a marketing and design studio, where his design projects included the creation of business materials and logos.
Trevor’s goal at FMG is to continue producing and promoting designs that help build cohesive and visible brands. Trevor’s philosophy is that great design is integral to success across all industries. He believes that there isn’t a company that can’t benefit from exceptional design. Mr. Amsberry describes his work style as outgoing but focused, placing great emphasis on ensuring complete client satisfaction.
